During the first 20 years of my professional career, I worked as a salaried engineer on a wide range of demanding projects. My main responsibility was the preparation of structural calculations, often in a leading engineering role.
In parallel with my work as a structural engineer, I was active as a certified crane expert, carrying out inspections, acceptance tests and expert assessments of crane systems. In addition, I worked for approximately ten years for a structural inspection engineer based in Bremen, where I was responsible for reviewing technical documentation and supervising construction works as part of official inspections.
Since 2018, I have been running my own engineering office. Based on my extensive professional experience, I now work on projects in the fields of structural engineering, crane and material handling technology, and specialized steel structures. A selection of these projects is listed below.
